The Treatment Process

The Levulan solution is then applied to the skin that has been either affected by acne or is in need of rejuvenation. The Levulan is absorbed into your skin, with the solution attacking the abnormal skin cells. An anaesthetic cream may be applied, prior to the light exposure, and you will be given special goggles to wear to protect your eyes during the treatment.
